Companies that put packagings on the market for the first time are acc. to the German Regulation on Packaging obliged to dispose their packagings. In order to meet this obligation they often authorizes external service providers to guarantee a correct disposal (dual systems).
Acc. to 5th amendment of the regulation on packaging there is a statutory audit for the report of the quantity put on the market.
